How to achieve 900 plus score in WBCS(Exe.) main exam

After the WBCS Prelims result is out, this time the fight is for WBCS Main. In the meantime, if you want to be selected in WBCS (executive) or WBCS GROUP-B, you have to be in the very first row of the Final Merit list. And for this, the more marks you can get in WBCS mains exam, the more advantage. Now we will discuss how to achieve 900 marks in WBCS mains.

How to achieve 900 marks in WBCS mains
First come to history total marks --100. Total questions  :100. But we assume that 24-25 hours.  But we can easily get 75-76 marks if  we try sincerely.
Then Geography .Total marks --100. total questions :100. We can't assume 30--35 Because a number of questions come up on geographic concept or geographic data based current affairs whose options are quite confusing. So we assume we can't do 30-35 But the rest 65-70 we can certainly get.

So if we study RESEARCH type way with MCQs in History + Geography paper and with it WBCS prelims previous 20 years, WBCS mains previous 4 years questions & IAS prelims 20 years questions, then prepare ourselves  to give test by practicing well then to get (history + geography 75 + 65 =) 140 must be achievable.

Then come INDIAN CONSTITUTION & INDIAN ECONOMY. Total number 100 + 100 = 200. Indian Constitution is a subject of WBCS whose question is never too complicated or difficult This is one of the best weapons to raise the number of WBCS. A very important weapon Yet even here we assume that I will not be able to answer at least 14--15 out of 100 questions But if you read a little strategically and practice 3000-4000 important MCQs, you can easily get 85-86.

In each case WBCS Prelims previous 20 years + WBCS mains previous 4 years & IAS prelims previous 20 years MCQs must read. Because many MCQs are common from here.
Then  comes Indian Economy. Here are a number of conceptual & current economic data based questions whose options are very confusing. We can't do it with risk. So here too we assume that we cannot answer 30-35 questions correctly but we can get the remaining 65--70 numbers (or, at least 65 numbers.)  So it is possible to get 85 + 65 = 150 marks in Indian Constitution + Indian Economy.

Then come to the paper of GI + MATH. One thing to keep in mind here is that it is really impossible to solve 100 GI + 100 MATHS in 180 minutes i.e. 200 questions in total. But if we assume that we don't ask at least 55 to 60 questions, then at least 140 GI + MATHS in 3 hours or 180 minutes is not as difficult as correcting stress.
However, this requires practice throughout the year as well as WBCS Prelims 20 years, WBCS Mains previous 4 years & probability, statistics & permutation -combination problems except the remaining IAS prelims GI + MATHS previous 20 years must practice very well.

Then our strategy in three papers is :
History + Geography = 75 + 65 = 140
Constitution + Economics = 85 + 65 = 150
GI + MATHS = 140
That is a total of 140 + 150 + 140 = 430.
Now , we see that 430 is  a number that can be achieved if you prepare yourself strategically.
Then I will come to 4th paper. Here are GK, CA, General Science, Science & Technology, Computer, ENVS etc. The specialty of this paper is that there is no question by following any specific pattern as no specific syllabus is followed. So if you worry too much about this paper, other important papers will be neglected. On the one hand , this paper will not get high marks. So in this paper we will have a strategy, we will assume that we will not be able to answer 125-130 questions, but we will get the remaining 70-75. I'm holding at least 70.

Then the matter is as follows:
####
SL No. Subjects Marks
1 History 75
2 Geography 65
3 Constitution 85
4 Indian Economy 65
5 GI+ Maths 140
6 4th paper 70
7 Total 500
Then there is Elective Subjects such as  BENGALI & ENGLISH. In this literature paper just 100 + 100 = 200
And if you just get 100 + 100 = 200 in optional paper, the total number is 500 + 200 + 200 = 900.

Now, even if you get 85-90 in English and 120 in GI + MATHS paper and less than 5-10 marks in other papers, then there will be 850 + marks & which is sufficient for selection of A + B GROUP PERSONALITY TEST. And the Final Merit list must also have a high enough rank.

Lastly, the CORE SUBJECTS of WBCS are HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY, CONSTITUTION, ECONOMICS & GI-MATHS. If you get good marks in these subjects, it is not so difficult to get 850--900 in WBCS MAINS However, it is impossible to get this number without studying Research Type from authentic source with MCQs Because the options in WBCS MAINS are very confusing in most cases if you just read text books, doing correct answer is far cry.

ADDENDUM:
